By this time of October 24th 1911 Dr. Knabe's body was removed from her apartment. It would take one coroner to prove it was murder, local women and a private investigator to get the indictment secured with the grand jury and over two years to bring the case to trial.
Dr. Knabe's death remains officially unsolved to this day.
